MMI doesn't open anymore
Posted by Jovian Archive Support on 30 October 2008 08:39 PM
When I open Maia Mechanics Imaging I get an error saying that the program is no longer functioning...

The first thing that can be done is to reinstall the program, it is an easy process that will not affect the Rave Charts that are saved on the computer.

Here are the steps:

If you are running Windows XP:
-Click on the Start Menu on the bottom left corner and go to Settings and then to Control Panel, click on it to open it.
-On the "Programs" section, click on the line that says "Uninstall a program", you will see a list of all the programs installed on your computer.
-Select the line corresponding to MMI (or MMAI if is the case) and click Remove, follow the steps.

If you are running Windows Vista/7:
-Click on the Start Menu on the bottom left corner and go to Control Panel, click on it to open it.
Find the section that says "Programs", and click on 'Uninstall a program', you will see a list of all the programs installed on your computer.
-Select the line corresponding to MMI (or MMAI if is the case) and click Uninstall on top of the list, follow the steps.

The previous steps will get MMI out of your system.
Now let's download the latest version of MMI from here:

Or if you have a 64bit version of Windows, please this copy:

Double click on the icon and then open the setup program, this will install the program again, remember that this process does not affect the Rave Charts that were installed before.
